Inclusive Swimming & The NDIS

As a registered NDIS provider, we have created an Inclusive Swimming Program for participants with special needs who require a more personalised approach. Our qualified, passionate teachers are led by our Managing Director Shad Royston, who was the recipient of the prestigious Swim Australia Teacher of the Year Award for Learners with Disabilities in 2019. We specialise in swimming lessons for children with Autism, Communication Difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorder, Developmental Delay and Physical Disabilities.

We can provide individualised swimming lessons for children who:

Are petrified of the water or who have previously had a traumatising experience in the water

Have sensory/behavioural needs and require extra attention

Have behavioural issues and safety considerations prevent them being included in group lessons

Have challenges processing instruction and cannot cope in mainstream lessons

Have physical disabilities and need the full attention of a teacher

If you intend to use your child’s NDIS funding to pay for term fees, you will need to complete a Service Agreement, which is attached to your child’s invoice for each term. This Service Agreement needs to be completed regardless of whether your child’s plan is being self-managed, NDIA managed or managed by a Plan Manager.

Navigating the NDIS can be very confusing, especially when you are new to it. We are more than happy to help with this process, so please feel free to contact us if needed.
